2023 Osyooos Eagle Bluff Fire
7:40 pm Looking Toward Hills Above Osoyoos Golf Club
Back on our suite deck again, but shooting through the Westerly neighbour’s property in the direction of the Osoyoos Golf Club (7 km away) we can see the flames marching down the hill. Most of what was burning was grass and sage and antelope brush, but there were some spectacular flares 100-200 feet high at times which seemed to indicate the near instantaneous consumption of a pine tree.
