11:45 am Canadian Water Bomber drops a Load
Canadian water bomber (mostly yellow with some red) dropping it’s load on the Canadian side. This is a tight crop from a 400mm lens, so perhaps equivalent to 1500mm. Although not easy to see in the bottom of the frame, there is a red line (which continues and crosses Highway 3 going West to the right of this frame). This may be a mark firefighters established to define where to contain the fire. Again, the flames are quite subdued in this location a day after the main conflagration. Note that the Pine trees are mostly unburned in this area.
