Mt Assiniboine Provincial Park is on the BC side of the Alberta border. It is bordered on the East by Banff National Park and on the West by Kootenay National Park. We stayed with friends in Canmore and hiked 3 days in the Spray Lakes Reservoir area before helicoptering in from Canmore to Assiniboine Lodge for 4 days in August 2022.
